About this centre
KUMON CONNECT available
The Table View centre opened in 1998 and offers both the Kumon Maths and English programmes, which are for all ages and abilities. The current students’ ages range from four to eighteen years old. The centre is situated in a very central location, just off Parklands Main Road, at 12 Redcliffe Road, on the corner of Redcliffe Close and Redcliffe Road.
Students complete individually-set daily work at home, and attend class at the centre twice a week, for 30 – 45 minutes per subject.
In the centre, there are separate areas for pre-school learners, Maths students, and English students. Currently, the Table View Study Centre has a team of 10 well-trained assistants who are friendly and approachable, and are available to aid students’ development.
Supplementary class activities support students’ learning. Reading is encouraged and we provide a fully stocked library, guided by Kumon’s well-researched Recommended Reading List. Staff at the centre provide instruction, observe students, test progress, work closely with newly-enrolled students, and give support, praise and feedback.
The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study. In order to recognise academic ability, the centre holds an annual awards ceremony to reward those who are working ahead of their school grade level.
When students can find joy in learning, they are able to take on new challenges with ease and grow in confidence. Our goal is for all students to achieve their greatest potential by working through the Kumon programme and finding enjoyment through learning.
